Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I was a gruelling 12 hour days sanding floors and taking wallpaper down with the baby on my back, and others crawling into the playpen. Ha! Ha! It all started to be clear, but wasn't quite done. It would take money, effort, as well as my personal favorite to complete the interior of this house. In order to keep my budget sound, I travelled with my three boys in search for bargains in estate sales. We would go from Thursday to Saturday at estate sales and garage sales buying brand new furniture. Then I stenciled and polished the driveway in the week. My passion for furniture restoration began when I saw a style like this. When our house was completed, I was unable to give up! Markets in town had room for me to sell pieces. Then I bought more that I knew what to do with and outgrew the space. I started having open houses at my house which saw over 1 000 guests could visit in the span of a weekend. They could purchase whatever they saw in the first floor. This is where my business Growing Days was born. While my company grew as did our family. The balance between work and family was crucial for me. I wanted to balance being a mother as well as a business owner who was successful. Growing Days seemed like the best combination. In 2013, my lovely daughter Nora was born. She is our fourth kiddo. I loved where my business was taking me, but I felt like I needed some time off. I decided to take some breaks from my old furniture and remain at home with the kids. This was precisely what I required. After a few minutes the phone started to ring. I was getting calls from people needing help with their interior decorating and home renovations. These were mostly customers who came to my open home to purchase furniture. In the following months, I began to take on new clients according to my own pace. Soon I had multiple customers and was operating as a home improvement business. There is a good chance that I'd have laughed had I had been told that the business was going to be part of a forthcoming tv program in the DIY Network. As I reflect at it, it has made me laugh.
